Global Village-Kids is an all volunteer, nonprofit foundation based in Portland, Maine dedicated to the care and aid of children and other vulnerable groups in Cambodia.
25% of the profits from Siempre Mas (which translates to 'Always More!) a store located in the Old Port in Portland Maine, goes to fund Global Village-Kids....Sharing the Abundance.

The Khmer Rouge devastated the Cambodian people. Forced out of their homes they were starved, maimed and brutally killed. The scars of this devastation remain with the Cambodian people to this day. You can help
Mission Statement To be of service to those who have suffered the unimaginable. For the children who are at risk of such suffering - to protect them with an education. For the elders who have suffered through the Khmer Rouge - to provide some basics. When the elders were asked, "We have a school for the children who had no hope of one, what is it you would like?" They replied, "We have suffered greatly under the Khmer Rouge, it was our karma, it is okay. But what we find difficult is dying hungry, maybe a little food." Our mission at Global Village-Kids is to provide the little things, a little food, the restoration of sight. These are things we can do with a little effort and your help. |
